Anthony has an accounting background, but spent 25 years with Macquarie Group in the Securities business with assignments in London, Asia, Australia/NZ and two tenures in the USA. His last role was overseeing sales and equity syndication in the role of Global Head, Sales and Relationship Management in New York.

He has held roles including the US SEC Securities Principal qualification, Hong Kong Dealing Director designation, Philippines Exchange Nominee position, ASX Exchange Traded Options Committee representative.

Anthony has broad experience in addressing corporate access to investment markets and specifically dealing with investors from local retail networks to the largest global institutional investment groups. Having overseen capital raisings over many years in multiple markets, he has a comprehensive knowledge on how that process works best from both the corporate and investor perspective.

Since leaving Macquarie Anthony has been assisting small to medium ASX companies and Investment Funds raise capital, board consultation, and consideration of listing on North American Exchanges.

Partner - Markets

David has over 30 years experience in financial markets, including equities, foreign exchange, bullion, and fixed interest.

David was an Executive Director managing the equities businesses of Macquarie in both Korea and South Africa. He was the groups Integrity Officer for Asia. He then managed the International Trading Desk.

David was also the developer and senior lecturer in the Advanced Derivatives Course at the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA). 

After 28 years with Macquarie, David has continued his involvement with various investment businesses, developing and successfully implementing niche investment opportunities.  David has significant exposure to investors, brokers, and the management of large companies, and is acutely aware of the risks they face, deep market insights, and an awareness of market opportunities that only vast experience brings.

Partner - Markets

With a background in structured investments, Kieran has over 25 years of experience in trading and risk managing Equity and Equity derivatives investments.

​Kieran previously was the Global Head of Trading and Risk (Equity Markets), the Head of Macquarie in Asia (based in Hong Kong), and the Head of Derivatives in the United States.

Prior to this, he worked in senior financial market trading and risk management roles in both Australia and the United Kingdom at the Executive Director Level.

Kieran can draw on a wide network of market participants and has the necessary execution experience to generate and deliver client-detailed solutions.

Partner - COO

Simon joined Alpha IP after success in a number of sectors. Simon was a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience at Macquarie the majority at Division Director level, working in Finance, Tax, Business management, and Legal and Compliance. Simon has spread his career over Sydney, New York and Hong Kong.

Over Simon's many roles he has liaised with regulators on a frequent basis, and his highlight was changing parts of Australian tax law in collaboration with Treasury and ATO. 

Most recently Simon has been consulting with ASX listed CFO's on business initiatives.
